Larry and Suzanne Mackin,
owners of Mackin’s Auto Body, have been loyal supporters of the JDRF
Oregon/SW Washington Chapter for the better part of two decades. The
Mackins have two daughters, Kristin and Ali, and four grandchildren. The
couple's youngest daughter, Ali, was diagnosed with T1D in 1999 at the
age of 14. Following Ali's diagnosis, Larry and Suzanne quickly immersed
themselves in the JDRF community, and were honored at the “Roses for
Parents Gala” in 2002. After their year as honorees, they stepped into
the role of Gala Co-Chairs; a job that they have shown their steadfast
commitment to for the past 15 years. We are honored to have them as our
partners and we are grateful for their many contributions to the success
of this event!
